Dedication Opportunities
Donors who contribute to capital projects or who make a major gift may receive special recognition by dedicating rooms in Jefferson’s Ferry. Many naming opportunities are available to provide donor’s with the opportunity to lend their names to the Foundation’s efforts to provide enhanced services and programs to present and future residents.
Vision
Our vision for the Foundation is to represent philanthropic excellence in our quest to implement an ethical program - striving at all times to promote philanthropy in an impartial, unbiased, efficient way with a commitment to inclusiveness. Contagious generosity and the ensuing feelings of satisfaction is the ultimate intent.
Mission
The Foundation shall work in partnership with Jefferson’s Ferry Board of Directors and staff to promote and raise philanthropic funds to enhance services for the residents and staff of this lifecare community.
The Foundation will promote benevolence by enthusiastically engaging and enlightening the residents, families, staff, volunteer leaders, and other interested people and organizations to understand and nurture emotional, spiritual, and health care needs of the seniors who reside at Jefferson’s Ferry.
Planned Giving Campaign…
To preserve the future of our quality programs and services. Depending upon the asset you contribute, the method you select, your personal situation and other circumstances, you can obtain an immediate charitable
tax deduction, increase your cash flow or reduce your income tax. This method of giving includes revocable and irrevocable gifts.
A bequest in your will is the simplest and most common method of making a planned gift. There are several possibilities; a specific dollar amount or a percentage of the estate. If you are planning to make the Jefferson’s Ferry Foundation one of your beneficiaries, we encourage you to tell us now. We can work with you and your advisors to make sure the bequest is planned and administered properly. It also gives us the opportunity to thank you and to welcome you as a member of the Jefferson’s Ferry Legacy Society.

Enhancement Fund
The Employee Enhancement Fund will provide for on-site educational seminars, health and resident care resource materials, and other programs that contribute to a nurturing work environment.

Emergency Fund
The Foundation recognizes that an employee of Jefferson’s Ferry, as a result of circumstances beyond his or her control for either medical or personal reasons, may suffer extreme financial hardship, and an emergency need for assistance. This program provides employees financial assistance either by loan or grant.

It is the purpose of this policy to ensure that employees are supported in their efforts to enhance their skills and knowledge, to contribute to the success of the organization, and provide care and quality service to residents.

The Jefferson’s Ferry Tribute Fund honors the work, the life or the loss of someone while also supporting the mission of the Jefferson’s Ferry Foundation.
Those we love and respect deserve to be remembered for all the unique gifts they bring to our lives. Time and again, people just like you have supported the Jefferson’s Ferry Foundation Tribute Fund with charitable gifts made in honor or in memory of people who have touched their lives. The Tribute Fund provides an enduring way to honor or remember a family member or a friend.
These are few ways to contribute to the fund:

Your financial contributions will keep us at the cutting edge of specialty care and will enhance the lives of those who call Jefferson’s Ferry "home.” It will cover the cost of new construction, repair and replacement of capital equipment. In accordance with our gift policies, your financial contribution can be earmarked to specific areas that reflect your own personal interests.
Endowment Fund

Your gift will establish or support enrichment programs, which enhance the quality of life of our residents. Your support will enable us to provide entertaining and stimulating recreational activities, evening cabarets, educational programs, and help to those who have out lived their assets.
